Your Guide: RadioBDC Festival and HONK!

A festival of street activist bands marches on Harvard Square for Oktoberfest, and a free live concert in Union Square.

Somerville will play host to two music festivals over the weekend.

HONK!

The HONK! Festival of Street Activist Bands is set to take place from Oct. 10 to Oct. 13.

The culmination of the festival, a musical procession from Davis Square to Harvard Square, led by the Original Big 7 Social Aid and Pleasure Club, from New Orleans, kicks off at 12 p.m. Sunday. Once in Harvard Square, HONK! musicians will join the square's Oktoberfest, which takes place from 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.
