Man Smokes Pot In Front of Police Station, Gets Arrested, Says Report

He also had baggies filled with marijuana and a knife, a police report says.

A man walking past the police station and a marked police cruiser while smoking pot was arrested on April 24, according to a Somerville police report.

The report says George Rivera, 22, of 130 Sycamore St., was walking by the station at about 3:12 p.m. with a group of males when an officer sitting in a cruiser saw him smoking a "roach."

Rivera dropped the roach, but the officer eventually discovered that Rivera also had a prescription bottle containing nine baggies that were also filled with marijuana, the report says.
