Man Drops Pants, Pees in Front of Davis Square Daycare Center, Says Report

The man fell over when trying to pull his pants up, according to a police report.

Staff members in a classroom at Davis Square's KinderCare Learning Center got a full-frontal view of a man urinating outside their window, according to allegations in a Somerville Police Report.

According to the police report, a witness was in a classroom of the daycare center shortly before 4 p.m. on Friday when she saw a man stumbling outside the classroom window, the report says.

According to the woman's account in the police report, the man "stumbled over to a cement pillar outside of her window and lowered his jeans to knee level," fully exposing himself.

It says the man was startled and "tried to pull his pants up in a hurry and ended up falling over, exposing his buttocks."

According to the report, the man stumbled over to a nearby wall.

Police found the 50-year-old man passed out on the wall, and an officer shook him awake and confronted him about the incident, the report says.

The man had "wet stain marks on his crotch area of his jeans," according to the report.

He was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness.

The police report does not say if any children were in the classroom at the time.
