That Noble Fury (ft. mystery special guest openers!)
That Noble Fury is the brainchild of songwriters, singers, and multi-instrumentalists Anthony Blaha and Tom Fellows who met on their first day as students at Johns Hopkins University and immediately bonded over a mutual interest in rock and pop music. Flash forward.
Combining heady lyrics with driving, genre-bending rock, the band recorded their self-titled debut independently at the famed Cutting Room Studios in NYC, enlisting the help of multiplatinum session musicians Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Joss Stone), Thad DeBrock (Spring Awakening), and Steve Wolf (Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Rufus Wainwright), along with very special guest Philip Setzer (nine-time Grammy winning Emerson String Quartet) on violin.The band has rounded out the live squad with Boston phenoms James Soares on drums, Dave Kahn on bass, and Dave Chapman on guitar.Now as a full-fledged five-piece, That Noble Fury has been taking the northeast by storm, winning awards, impressing industry veterans, gaining the hearts of loyal fans, and playing sold out headlining gigs at such esteemed venues as the Middle East club in Boston, Arlene’s Grocery in NYC, and even playing to a capacity crowd at the historic Bitter End in Manhattan.Price: $10 advance, $12 at the doorAdvance tickets at: http://thatnoblefury.eventbrite.com
