Journeys in Sound Presents ...Hymnes à l'Amour: Songs of Piaf with Christine Zufferey (chanteuse) & Catherine Capozzi (guitare)

Christine Zufferey (Mary Zoo) and Catherine Capozzi (Axemunkee) will re-create their amazing interpretations of songs made famous by the great French singer and revered figure of French Chanson, Edith Piaf, as they once did as members of the fondly remembered Boston based band, Ziaf.

For those not familiar with "La Môme" (Piaf's mickname meaning "Little Sparrow"), here is a great opportunity to hear several of her powerful songs. Christine & Catherine bring a fresh perspective to these old songs that people from all walks of life can relate to.

It will also be a rare opportunity to hear Christine in this context as she is now based in Paris and performing original material under the moniker Mary Zoo.

To  start things off, the talented Zoe Christiansen will do an opening set of Parisian musette on accordion.
