ReplyDavis is a beautiful walk in the Spring and Summer. Union is a nice cycle ride too! Also, the Modelo Butcher Market in Magoun Square is open should you need something during the week when the Farmer's Markets aren't available.

ReplyI agree with SomervilleGirl and would like to take it a step further. Post-September 11th, airlines had plain-clothes officials on planes. This approach should be implemented into the MBTA system.

ReplyHi Dan and Mia,
There is also a Zoning Advisory Committee that was convened to look at the code and see where it can be untied, improved and better organized. Still, it would be great to attend the 4/22/2013 meeting and have your voice heard.

ReplyI can certainly understand Rep. Provost's difficulty with this. On one hand, the Governor's plan, although thorough and inclusive, is expensive. However, I agree that this plan is inadequate and provides nothing more than the "bubble gum to hold it together" approach that the State has traditionally taken with transportation infrastructure fixes. For me, I like the Patrick Plan that takes a comprehensive/total picture approach to the transportation system in Massachusetts, including the Green Line coming to Somerville.
