It's not hate from me but I just want the biker to be as responsable as the driver in the event of an accident. Having gone through an incident a short while back the system does not work fairly. And both my wife and myself bike and not that I want the extra expense but the biker should be able to take of their part when at fault. And for the record I dislike bad bikers as well as bad drivers. -

You want to be equal? You forgot the helmet. A bit much but agree. Especially the insurance.

Exactly. We could never get accross before it was built. Traffic was a nightmare here and we had fewer cars on the road back then. That ugly structure was a big relief to the problems. Whatever they do will have no effect on me anymore but it will for the people in the area.

First hand I can tell you that if the biker is at fault, even if the police report is written up to that effect and the biker admits the fault and the biker puts in a claim the biker will be paid and your rates go up. And my only way out was to change companies. I have the same problem with bikers as I do with drivers, uninsured and bad driving skills or lack thereof.

ReplyBack before thsi was built this was a mess. The ugly structure there made things so much better. With more cars on the road now I expect removing it will bring back those problems we had before it was built. Not that it matters to me as I no longer have need to go that way. But trying to get from side to the other was darn near impossible without that structure. You would have had to been there to see what I am trying to say.

ReplyBeing a businessman and haveing many friends businessmen tha is one thing we have in common is this state is so hard on businesses. Been this way for some time so this is nothing new. Try starting up a business here, just so much hassle instead of help. And I don't care if you are a D or and R but Patrick has to rank about the lowest as far govenors in this state and the USA.
