Report: Barbershop Kerfuffle Leads Cops to Stolen Bike
A drunk man tried to sell a stolen bike at a Winter Hill barber shop then became angry when no one wanted to buy it, according to allegations in a police report.
An unwanted, drunk, verbally belligerent customer at a Winter Hill barber shop led police to a stolen bicycle and possibly other stolen items, according to a Somerville police report. Police responded to Wally's Barber Shop at about 2:37 p.m. on Feb. 21 for reports of a fight, according to the report. When they got there, they found a "highly intoxicated" man who was being "very aggressive and insulting to the customers and employees of the barber shop," the report says. When police escorted the man out of the shop, he threatened to beat up and kill one of the officers, according to the report.
