Somerville Among Nation's 16 'Hottest Up-and-Coming Neighborhoods,' Says Redfin
The real estate website says Somerville has a "laidback, hipster feel with a lot of great diversity."
Redfin, a real estate website, named Somerville as one of the country's 16 "hottest up-and-coming neighborhoods" for 2013, according to a recent post on its blog. Redfin's post says, "For 16 markets across the country, Redfin’s local real estate agents collaborated with our analytics team to identify the neighborhoods where we expect prices to rise the most this year." The post continues to say, "What makes a market likely to heat up? Our agents frequently cited new restaurants, a hip local vibe, good schools, and convenient commutes among the factors that will drive buyers to these areas."
