Somerville has a great winter farmers market, but other communities have some, too. If you're looking for farm products on Thursday or Sunday, or if you just want to take a short trip, check these out.
Many of you may already shop at Somerville's winter farmers market, which is on Saturdays. Sometimes, much to our chagrin, it's not a Saturday. If you're interested in hitting up a farmers market on a Sunday, or maybe a Thursday, here are some other markets in nearby communities. Also, some of you may acknowledge the existence of places other than Somerville. What's more, you might want to visit such places. Farmers markets can be a great excuse to do that. The following are the markets open for the Winter 2013 season in Somerville and in nearby cities and towns. The square's shops are open until midnight, and shoppers can get holiday discounts.
The market will highlight local merchants for the holiday shopping season.

Nellie's Wildflowers in Davis Square is the winner.
The best florist in Somerville is Nellie's Wildflowers outside Davis Square, according to Somerville Patch users. We tallied votes, comments and reviews to determine the winner. "Great flowers all the time," Kevin wrote. "Have ordered several times through the years. Keep up the good work." "Nellie's is the best," wrote Julie Anne …
