The "second suspect" in the Boston Marathon bombing is in police custody. He had been surrounded in a boat sitting in a Watertown backyard.

Elsewhere tonight, three people have been taken into custody in New Bedford as part of the terror investigation. Watertown residents, just after the day-long "shelter in place" order had been lifted, were again asked to stay indoors as shots were fired in the area. A resident reported a guy had crawled under a boat and police and SWAT officers moved in on the location. About a dozen shots were fired in the vicinity. Information that shots were fired at the Super Stop & Shop were incorrect.
CORRECTION: According to Somerville police there were no shots fired at the Super Stop & Shop. The report below was based on scanner reports, but it is inaccurate. I apologize for the mistake -- Chris Orchard ORIGINAL STORY An unidentified person allegedly opened fire on Super Stop & Shop employees Friday night, according to a scanner report. At about 8:30 p.m., Super Stop & Shop employees confronted an alleged shoplifter and the alleged open fire and fled the store located at 779 McGrath Highway, according to the report. No one was reportedly shot during the incident, according to the report. It is unclear if anyone has been arrested. We'll provide more information as we receive it.

Reading police arrested Justin Koser, 30, for allegedly attempting to have sex with a 15 year old in Reading.
A Somerville man police said allegedly attempted to entice a 15-year-old into sex has been arrested in Reading, police said in a statement. Justin Koser, 30, was arrested by Reading Police after traveling to the town to allegedly have sex with the teen Saturday. Police said Kosher had shared graphic conversations with the teen via online and text messages prior to the trip. Koser will be arraigned in Woburn's Middlesex District Court this Tuesday.
