'Somerville by Design' Workshops to Discuss Ball, Magoun, Gilman Squares
The meetings, on Nov. 28 and 29, will take place at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
"Somerville by Design," an urban planning initiative, aims to create visions for the futures of Magoun, Gilman and Ball squares and plan for the Green Line. It also seeks to inform city planners in an effort to overhaul residential zoning laws. There was an initial "visioning session" on Oct. 17. Now, the city has a series of other meetings set up to seek thoughts and opinions from the public.
