National Frozen Yogurt Chain, Orange Leaf, Coming to Davis Square
Orange Leaf will be close to another new frozen yogurt store, iYO Cafe.
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, a national chain that will soon have 17 stores in Massachusetts, is opening in Davis Square, according to its website. Orange Leaf will open in the Davis Square Plaza complex that houses Starbucks. It's moving into the space formerly occupied by the martial arts studio School of Oom Yung Doe. The Somerville Zoning Board of Appeals approved a special permit for the frozen yogurt business on Sept. 5. Orange Leaf will come to the square soon after another frozen yogurt place, iYO Cafe, opened about a block away at 234 Elm St.
