Meet Rosco! He was abandoned by his owner at doggie boarding on Jan 31. He is about 1 year old, very friendly and lovable. His medical records are up-to-date, and he is neutered. Rosco has been introduced to cats and showed little interest in them. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with them. He has not been child tested, but may do fine with them since he is so easy going with everyone else. He walks well with some correction for pulling, but with the right collar he would do great. Rosco currently lives with a five year old male dog and a female dog who is around two. His foster family says he is very obedient and a perfect gentlemen! He listens well and loves affection. Pet of the week: Gia is energetic and fully housebroken.
Gia is an 18-month-old, young-adult Pit Bull/American Staffordshire Terrier, weighing about 55 lbs. She is fully housebroken and crate trained. She knows her basic commands and is up-to-date with all of her shots, and she is spayed. She recently had surgery for a torn ACL, it was an athletic injury, and she is recovering nicley. She is a good girl, and still has some puppy energy, which is best handled with training. When Gia is introduced properly to dogs and in training classes she is fine with them, and she loves to play with other dogs that she has been taken to at dogs parks. She loves people and does well meeting them and interacting with children as well. Gia would be best as an only pet and with someone that does not have cats. Her…

Meet Minny! She is a 3-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix and weighs about 45 pounds. Minny is energetic, loves people and is good with kids, although she can sometimes jump. She loves being loved and getting attention and gives lots of love in return. Minny is a good watch dog and will bark if a stranger comes to the door. She can be a pest to another dog as well as cats so would do best by herself. Minny can't wait to have a family to call her own. Titan is a handsome 1-year-old Weimaraner/Lab mix. He is extremely friendly and lovable. He gets along with other dogs, cats and loves people. If you are looking for a great family dog, Titan will make a wonderful addition. He is great with all age groups, but is a strong and playful dog that would be best with children that are a little older. He is outgoing and does well at his training classes. Meet Pillsbury. Pillsbury is an extremely lovable and friendly, two year old, female cat. Her owner gave her and her litter up because she just couldn't keep them. Of course everyone wanted to adopt her kittens but Pillsbursy is still waiting for someone to bring her home forever. Pillsbury was a good mom to her kittens and now it is her turn to go home. The following was provided by Marcy Newhall of Kitty Connection: Meet Iris, a one-year-old female pit bull mix. She's a gorgeous girl who likes to go for walks and car rides. Her favorite things are tennis balls, squeaky toys, rope tugs, tummy rubs and snuggling. Iris loves to show affection to her humans and gets super excited to meet new people and kids of all ages. Iris has been attending dog training classes over the past few weeks and is learning basic commands quickly. This week's Pet of the Week was written by Marcy Newhall of Kitty Connection. Meet Maizie and Max! Two cats are always better than one, and Maizie would be lost without Max. Max is five years old and Maizie is seven. Max is friendly, loving and looks out for Maizie because she is very shy. Maizie sticks by Max's side and follows his cues.
