Police say they found over 100 packages in the home of two Somerville residents. Detectives were working hard Tuesday night to log the allegedly stolen packages so victims could have them in time for Christmas.
Police arrested a Somerville man and woman Tuesday afternoon and charged them with receiving stolen property, according to an announcement sent by the Somerville Police Department. The stolen property in question: Christmas packages. According to the announcement, Somerville police have been working with other police departments in the Greater Boston area to investigate multiple reports of thieves stealing packages from porches and doorways.
