Burger Dive Opens in Assembly Row
Somerville gets a "better burger" style fast-food restaurant.
Burger Dive, a new restaurant by the same group that owns Papagayo, Sip Wine Bar and other restaurants in the Boston area, opened in Assembly Square over Thanksgiving weekend, according to the restaurant's website. The burger joint is the first restaurant to open in the new Assembly Row development currently under construction. Burger Dive seems designed to take part in the "better burger" trend—a reference to the slightly upscale fast-food burger chains, like Five Guys and In-N-Out Burger—that has been sweeping the country recently. At Burger Dive the burgers come in different styles, and there are a variety of toppings to choose from.
