Boston Police announced a major new development in the Boston Marathon bombing case Wednesday morning. According to the department, there are three new suspects in custody. Boston Police tweeted the news just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. There were no further details, though the police said they would offer more information soon. Sean Collier is gone. But it was never more clear than during a memorial service attended by more than 15,000 people from across the nation that he will not soon be forgotten. Collier, the Wilmington native and Somerville resident, was killed in the line of duty last week while sitting in his police cruiser on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus that he patrolled. On Wednesday, a massive police turnout honored Collier's memory during a memorial service at MIT's Briggs Field. Slain MIT police officer Sean Collier will be buried in Peabody today in a private service at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, reports the Salem News. Starting at noon, a memorial service will be held at MIT, which you can follow along in our live blog here. At some point after the conclusion of the ceremony, Collier's casket and family will depart for Peabody for a private burial. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, made the reported admission on Sunday from his bed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and had not yet been given a Miranda warning, the Globe reported. Martin Richard, the youngest of the victims killed in the Boston Marathon bombings April 15, has been laid to rest. NECN.com reports parents Denise and Bill Richard had a private burial service and funeral for the boy Tuesday morning, and thanked the public for its support. “The outpouring of love and support over the last week has been tremendous. This has been the most difficult week of our lives and we appreciate that our friends and family have given us space to grieve and heal,” the parents said in a statement on NECN.com. The Richard family, from Dorchester, plan to have a public memorial service in the coming weeks, according to the site.

The outpouring of support for slain Massachusetts Institute of Technology Police Officer Sean Collier continued on Tuesday morning at Saint Patrick's Parish in Stoneham as police officers and loved ones filed into the church to pay their respects during a private funeral. Collier's wake was held on Monday at a nearby funeral home, with officers forming a long line then as well to say goodbye to their fellow officer. Support for Collier will continue on Wednesday at MIT when a larger memorial service will take place. According to reports, Vice President Joe Biden will be in attendance during the service, which begins at 12 p.m.
