The Friends of the Somerville Public Library will hold their annual spring book sale on May 17, 18 and 19, according to an email from the organization. The sale will be held at the central branch of the library, and members of the organization (at the $50 level) will get a special preview evening on May 16. This year there will be lots of books in history, biography, arts, foreign language—including Russian, Japanese, Spanish and French—and fiction. There will also be lots of DVDs. All proceeds from the book sale benefit cultural and educational programs at the library, including the museum pass program.
