Massachusetts State Police said two lanes are closed and there are minor injuries.
An accident on Interstate 93 in Somerville has closed at least two lanes of traffic on the highway Wednesday afternoon, according to a Tweet from Massachusetts State Police. At 2:51 p.m., @MassStatePolice tweeted, "MSP on scene of a crash 93 N/B in Somerville. Minor injuries. 2 left lanes closed." According to scanner transmissions monitored by Patch, the accident was a rollover that occured just before the Mystic Avenue ramp.

The victim was thrown out of the club before he was attacked and slashed with a knife.
A group of males also smashed the victim's car windows, a police report says. The incident happened shorty before noon near East Cambridge.
It happened in broad daylight, shortly before noon. According to a Somerville police report, four young men smashed the windows out of a car, a man was hit with a club, three window-smashers escaped in a pickup truck and the victim chased the remaining assailant into a restaurant. According to the report, police arrested 23-year-old Daniel Nelligan, of Winchester, in connection to the incident. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. The commotion happened at about 11:30 a.m. May 9 in and around 111 South Street, near the border of East Cambridge, the report says. The woman allegedly offered illegal "massage services."
Somerville detectives busted a 25-year-old Medford woman who was allegedly providing massages of the "genital area" and who allegedly offered to have sex for $500, according to a Somerville police report. The arrest follows a couple of similar incidents in recent months in which Somerville detectives have busted massage-parlor workers accused of engaging in the illegal sex trade. In October of 2011 the city shut down a massage parlor at the corner of Highland Avenue and Lowell Street that was allegedly offering "happy endings." In March, detectives arrested a woman who was allegedly providing "happy endings" but "no boom boom" at another parlor on Highland Avenue. Jason Souza, 29, of Charlestown, was arrested at the intersection of McGrath Highway and Mystic Avenue on May 10. He is accused of robbing banks in Medford and Charlestown.
A Medford bank teller was in line at Dunkin' Donuts in Medford Square on May 9 when she spotted a familiar face. Two days ealier her bank, Members Plus Credit Union, just a few doors down, had been robbed. She was the teller to whom the bank robber had passed the demand note. As she waited for coffee on the morning of May 9, the alleged robber was waiting behind her in the same line, according to a police report. Two of the victims were "seriously injured," according to a Somerville Fire Department district chief.
Four people were sent to the hospital on body boards, and another three were also sent to the hospital after a Thursday evening rollover accident on Mystic Valley Parkway in Somerville. The accident happened at about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Mystic Valley Parkway (Route 16) and Boston Avenue, near the border of Medford. Somerville and Medford fire departments responded to the scene along with police departments from both communities and Massachusetts State Police. Police officers closed off nearby sections of Route 16 and Boston Avenue so emergency personnel could attend to the victims. Police responded to a late-night fracas involving about 7 people and arrested a Somerville man who is accused hitting one of the combatants with a metal baseball bat.
Somerville police arrested a Somerville man after a late-night street fight in which he allegedly hit one of the fighters with a baseball bat. The fight happened outside 182 Broadway, in East Somerville, at around 11:40 p.m. on April 30, according to a Somerville Police Department incident report. When police arrived on the scene, they encountered about 7 people yelling at each other, the report says.
