Saint Catherine of Genoa Parish
This Roman Catholic Parish laid the cornerstone for its church in 1908, and 12 years later had built what some now call “the gem of the Boston archdiocese.” Its elegant marble arches, colorful stained glass and many artful details—including the Stations of the Cross crafted in white alabaster—pay homage to the European churches that inspired its design. A self-described “warm, friendly and supportive” congregation, they gather both for mass and many church activities. Adult and children’s choirs, a young adult social group and charitable work are among them.
