My husband & I recently got married at the Wequassett Resort in Cape Cod & hired Madison Floral to create a chuppah-like structure, known as a mandap, for our Hindu ceremony. They knew from the beginning that our ceremony was going to be an outdoor one by the water and should have built a structure to withstand a mild Spring breeze. Instead, they came completely unprepared with no proper support for the structure, leaving us with nothing but an empty stage.
When we wrote a check for $1500 for the mandap, we also signed a contract that read "Madison Floral is responsible for creating, completing, and delivering all aspects of the chuppah rental as listed in the invoice/contract." Unfortunately, they created but neither completed nor delivered.
In our Hindu culture, a mandap symbolizes many things and is an integral part of any wedding. Because of Madison Floral's ill-preparedness, the entire look and feel of our ceremony was completely compromised. Any seasoned, professional, and respectful company would have taken our frustration into account & would have offered some sort of refund, but the word refund doesn't even exist in the vocabulary of Madison Floral.
We had a horrible experience with this company & basically threw away $1500 worth of our hard-earned money for something we never even received. If you're even considering hiring them, DON'T - I'm sure anyone else would be better!
