This bar isn't as intimidating inside as it appears from the outside; the staff is warm and talkative, the beer cold and the whisky close at hand. Behind an intricate wooden door, La Hacienda's bar stretches to the opposites wall, booths and tables on the red brick floor.  A real 'regulars' bar since 1939, some of the stools have little gold tags reminding newcomers for whom the seat is permanently reserved. La Hacienda does a brisk business in catering, maintains a function room and has a free lot for customers.
