Gentle Giant is a full-serivce moving company that was founded in 1980. There are now 17 outlets in seven states, and the Somerville warehouse is considered company headquarters. Gentle Giant was a listed Fortune 500 company in 1989, launched "Box Express," its packing supply service, in 2001 and participates annually in moving/transport efforts related to the Boston Marathon. This is a huge building with a local office downstairs and a more expansive HQ office on the second floor. Both new and used packing supplies are available for purchase.
