Rock and Roll Yard Sale
The Rock and Roll Yard Sale is a chance for music junkies to get their hands on vintage vinyl records, rock and roll fashion, music gear, local art, vintage goods, music memorabilia, old 8-tracks, cassettes, CDs and other rock and roll stuff. It's in Union Square Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The rain date is Sept. 1.
Veteran Square Dedication
The corner of Broadway and Barton Street will be dedicated to Robert and Walter Donovan, both veterans of the Korean War. A dedication ceremony takes place Saturday at 10 a.m.
Midnight Movie: "The Warriors"
This 1979 film takes place in a dystopian New York where gangs have funny costumes. It follows one gang's adventure through the city as it fights with other gangs and avoids the cops. It's showing Saturday at midnight at Somerville Theatre.
Som|Dog Eat and Greet
Bring your dog to the Zero Washington Street Dog Park Sunday for some coffee, snacks and doggie ice cream, according to som|dog's monthly newsletter. It's a great opportunity to ask questions about dog ownership in Somerville, meet other dog owners or get involved in som|dog, the Somerville dog group. Sunday's eat and greet is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Local artists and artisans will sell their goods, and the theme of the market is "back to school." It's Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Center for Arts at the Armory.
