Massive Harvard Book Store Warehouse Sale in Somerville
Somerville bookworms, start your engines: You have two days this weekend to sort through 25,000 bargain books. And bring an appetite while you're at it; there will be some good food.
Harvard Book Store's 6,500 square-foot warehouse, at 14 Park St., not far from Union Square, is opening its doors this weekend to let book lovers browse and shop.
There are 25,000 volumes of rare, used and remainder books to look through, so you may need the entire weekend—the warehouse sale is Saturday and Sunday—to cover all the ground.
What's more, this year several local food producers will be part of the book sale, offering samples and fueling the needs of all the bookworms.
