Somerville High School Financial Aid Night
If you're a student heading to college with questions about filling out financial aid paperwork, head to Somerville High School Monday night. The Somerville High School guidance department and a financial aid representative from Tufts University will be on hand to answer questions. It's at 7 p.m. at the high school cafeteria, 81 Highland Ave.
Benjamin Brown School Winter Concert
The Brown School winter concert is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The concert is actually at the West Somerville Neighborhood School, 177 Powderhouse Blvd.
Preservation Awards Deadline
The deadline for nominating homes for the Historic Preservation Awards is today. More here.
Ugly Holiday Sweater Karaoke
The Painted Burro is throwing an ugly sweater holiday party on Tuesday. There will be prizes for all-around ugliest sweater, best couple's sweaters, "most likely to be arrested when seen in public," and "most joyful and festive." It starts at 9 p.m. at the restaurant, 219 Elm St.
