Monday Essentials: 'The Bully Plays," College Fair, Book Sale

A look at the week ahead in Somerville.

Theatre@First Presents "The Bully Plays"
Theatre@First presents selections from "The Bully Plays" as part of National Anti-Bullying Awareness Month. The performance deals with bullying in funny, serious, dramatic and thought-provoking ways. Proceeds benefit Teen Empowerment. You can catch "The Bully Plays" at Somerville Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday.

Somerville High School College Fair
The 19th annual college fair takes place Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Somerville High School atrium. Representatives from 90 colleges and universities will be there.

Friends of the Somerville Public Library Fall Book Sale
The book sale takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the central branch of the library. In addition to a strong showing in history, biography, literature, and fiction, this year's book sale includes some classic rock vinyl records.

Spooktacular Som|Dog Howl-O-Ween
This doggie Halloween party benefits som|dog, the Somerville dog group, and includes doggie costumes, prizes and other fun. It's Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Crate Escape, 200 Terminal Street, Charlestown.

"Night of the Living Dead"
The Post-Meridian Radio Players present "Night of the Living Dead," performed live onstage in the style of the Golden Age of Radio. It opens Friday at 8 p.m. at 240 Elm St.
