Somerville Community Access Television
has partnered with a startup company called Agora to host an online space for community conversations around relevant issues/topics that impact Somerville. In this most recent case, the topic of discussion is on Net Neutrality. According to the FCC, Net Neutrality allows for an Open Internetwhich “is the Internet as we know it, a level playing field where consumers can make their own choices about what applications and services to use, and where consumers are free to decide what content they want to access, create, or share with others.”

Many questions have come to surface since the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C., struck down the Federal Communications Commission’s Open Internet Order (AKA Net Neutrality).

Whether you are unfamiliar, moderately familiar or a guru on the topic, we invite you to contribute to the dialogue around this pressing and relevant public issue.
