Somerville's OPENAIR Circus, which teaches circus skills to children, teens and adults, is holding its big-top performance this weekend. Under a tent at Nunziato Field near Union Square, you'll be able to see kids juggling, walking on stilts, performing acrobatics and more. Fourth Annual Metro Mayors Basketball Tournament on Saturday
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council sent the following about the basketball tournament, taking place in Somerville on Saturday: "Law enforcement officials, youth services workers and local teens will join together for the Fourth Annual Metro Mayors Basketball Tournament … in a show of solidarity among youth and those who fight for their safety. Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Quincy, Revere, Somerville and Winthrop will send teams to a five-on-five tournament hosted by the Metro Mayors Coalition as a way to promote safe summer activities and kick off the coming school year."
