After routing Sweden 6-1 Monday in the semifinals, the U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team will face Canada Thursday, Feb. 20, for the gold medal.

No need to be an early riser for this one. The game will be aired live on NBC at noon Thursday and then re-broadcast on NBC Sports Network at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The U.S. team lost to Canada 3-2 in group play last Wednesday.

Canada won the gold on their home ice at the Vancouver games four years ago, defeating the United States 2-0.

Stone has been Harvard University’s coach for the last 18 seasons and is the NCAA Division I active wins leader. She is the first woman to ever lead the U.S. team in an Olympic games.
