Somerville High School is hosting an event that will help college-bound students, and their parents, fill out financial aid paperwork.

The event is called FAFSA Day Massachusetts, and you can learn more at the FAFSA Day website.

FAFSA stands for "free application for federal student aid."

The event takes place on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the high school.

"By the end of the afternoon on Sunday, students will have completed this federally required form for all students seeking financial aid assistance for college, and have it ready to submit to colleges throughout their college application process," an announcement from Somerville Public Schools says about FAFSA Day.
