Somerville to Face Lincoln-Sudbury on WGBH's 'High School Quiz Show'
The episode will air on March 3.
The Somerville High School trivia team will face off against Lincoln-Sudbury in the first round of WGBH's "High School Quiz Show," according to an announcement from the show.
Although the show airs its first episode on Feb. 10—with a contest between Hopkinton and North Quincy—the episode featuring Somerville is scheduled to air on March 3.
The Somerville team will be one of 16 from across the state to compete on the trivia show. Somerville earned a spot on the show after competing against 94 other Massachusetts public high schools on "Super Sunday," held on Nov. 4, 2012. All the schools took an identical oral quiz consisting of 100 questions, and Somerville was one of the top 16 teams.

This is the second straight year Somerville has competed on the televised quiz show. Last year Somerville was eliminated by Rockport in the first round.
