Somerville High Fails to Make US News & World Report’s Rankings

The publication’s rankings included the top 63 high schools in Massachusetts.

US News & World Report released its annual list of the nation’s top high schools Tuesday and Somerville High School failed to make the cut.

The publication’s rankings included the top 63 high schools in Massachusetts, about the top 2,000 nationally.

From the rankings:

“At Somerville High School, students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Somerville High School is 17 percent. The student body makeup is 50 percent male and 50 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 66 percent.”

5. The Bromfield School (Harvard)
6. Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (Malden)
