Healey School Uses Flower Power to Raise Money
Your tulips could help send Healey School students on a trip to New York.
If you're planning to plant bulbs this fall, you could help the Healey School while you're at it.
The school is planning a seventh- and eighth-grade trip to New York, and it's trying to raise $1,000 to make sure every student can participate.
To raise money, it's started a Flower Power campaign. Basically, you can order bulbs online, including crocuses, hyacinths, tulips and other flowers, and Flower Power donates proceeds to the Healey School's trip.
