The Ward 7 ResiStat neighborhood meeting takes place tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the .

2) Somerville 1st graders win state award
Tanya Dorsen, from the , and David Ou, from the , were winners of the Massachusetts School Building Authority "My Ideal School" contest, according to an announcement from the authority. The two were among 13 winners from across the state. The contest asked students to articulate what values and attributes are important to them in a school. As their prize, they each won a $100 savings bond from Soverign Bank. Congratulations Tanya and David.

3) Somerville Sunsetters can perform in your neighborhood
The Somerville Sunsetters, a traveling youth troupe of Somerville singers, debuts this year at the city's Fourth of July fireworks display on June 28. What's more, you can request that the Sunsetters perform in your neighborhood. Make inquiries by calling the mayor's office at (617) 625-6600, ext. 2100.
