Treat yourself to Me’ah this fall, in Cambridge!

Thursdays, 7:00 – 9:45 p.m. at Congregation Eitz Chayim

Me’ah (Hebrew for ‘100’) is an intensive program designed
for busy adult learners. Explore core texts and ideas from the Hebrew Bible, and from the rabbinic, medieval and modern periods.

For more information and to register contact Cindy Landau at 617-645-7895 or clandau1@comcast.net or log on to www.hebrewcollege.edu/meah.

Treat yourself to remarkable learning with…

Marc Brettler, Dora Golding Professor of Bible in the
Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University, where he
was awarded the Michael L. Walzer Teaching Prize. Dr. Brettler is the author of
many articles on literary and historical aspects of biblical texts, co-editor
of “The Jewish Study Bible” (Oxford University Press; 2004), and winner of a
2004 National Jewish Book Award. He has been a Me’ah instructor since the
program’s inception.

“What a privilege it has been for us to learn Torah from
such a knowledgeable scholar! Not only is Marc Brettler well organized and engaging, but he also shares modern perspectives on ancient material—a gift that will continue to enlighten my learning going forward.”
