The Somerville High School Scholarship Foundation's "Buy a Brick" campaign held an unveiling ceremony Sunday at Somerville High School, according to an email sent by organizers.
The campaign aims to raise money that will help Somerville High School graduates pay for higher education. It also provides people with the opportunity to have their names, or those of their family and friends, become a permanent part of Somerville High School.
People can have a brick engraved and placed in the walkway leading up to the high school.
Each brick costs $125, and the scholarship foundation hopes to sell 1700 of them, according to the email.
