New Condos in Hot Restaurant 'Hood Are Homes of the Week

Newly constructed condos near some of Somerville's hottest restaurants.

This week's home of the week is actually a series of homes.

Four townhouses at 1 Village Terrace came on the market this week. They're all two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom homes with 885 square feet of space, though one has 909 square feet.

All four are in "Duck Village," though some real estate folks like to call this area "Kirkland Village."

Whatever you call it, it's one of the hottest restaurant and food neighborhoods in Somerville, with Kirkland Tap & Trotter, Bergamot, Dali, Savenor's, Wine & Cheese Cask and The Biscuit (a coffee shop) all around the corner.

Union Square and Inman Square—two other food destinations—are within short walks.

These newly constructed condos have new kitchens, maple hardwood floors, central air, skylights, cathedral ceilings, patios, in-unit laundry, garage parking and other accoutrements.

They're on the market for $439,000 ($449,000 for the bigger one), and the listing agent is Carol Kelly and Myra von Turkovich from Hammond Real Estate.

There's an open house for all the condos Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
