Somerville Labor Coalition Hosts Candidates Forum Tuesday

The forum will give candidates for elected office the chance to answer questions about labor issues in Somerville.

The Somerville Labor Coalition, a new group that supports unionized employees in Somerville, is hosting a forum Tuesday for candidates running for elected office in the city.

The forum takes place at 5 p.m. at the Somerville City Club, 20 Inner Belt Rd.

The forum, moderated by Edward Kelly, president of the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, will give candidates a chance to introduce themselves and answer questions about labor issues in Somerville.

The Somerville Labor Coalition is composed of six labor unions that represent city of Somerville employees, and you can learn more about the group at its website and Facebook page.
