Progressive Democrats Hold Forum for Alderman Candidates

Most of the 14 candidates running for seven ward-based seats on the Board of Aldermen will attend Tuesday's forum.

The Progressive Democrats of Somerville are holding a forum Tuesday for candidates seeking election to the Somerville Board of Aldermen as ward aldermen.

Of the 14 candidates seeking to represent their ward, 10 are expected to participate in Tuesday's forum, according to the Progressive Democrats' website. Somerville has seven wards.

There are also four at-large seats on the Board of Aldermen, but the seven candidates for those seats won't be participating in Tuesday's forum.

Each candidate answered a questionnaire prepared by the Progressive Democrats, and you can read the candidates' responses here.

Tuesday's forum is at 6:30 p.m. at the Kesher Center, 13 Garden Court. This is next to the parking lot adjacent to Conway Park.
