Do You Live Near Future Green Line Train Tracks?

If so, you might want to go to these meetings.

The Green Line Extension project team is holding a series of public meetings that will probably interest Somerville residents who live near train tracks.

The meetings will discuss plans for noise and retaining walls along segments of the Green Line Extension, which is coming to Union Square and Washington Street by 2017 and is expected to be continued through Somerville by 2019 (funding permitting).

Below are the meeting dates. Check out this map to see what neighborhoods are affected.

Wednesday, January 8, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Holiday Inn, 30 Washington St., Somerville
  • For Inner Belt, Brickbottom and the Union Square branch (includes Union Square Station)

Tuesday, January 14, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Holiday Inn, 30 Washington St., Somerville
  • For Washington Street to Medford Street (includes Washington Street Station)

Wednesday, January 15, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Center for the Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave., Somerville
  • For Medford Street to Lowell Street (includes Gilman Square Station)

Wednesday, January 22, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Center for the Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave., Somerville
  • For Lowell Street to Broadway (includes Lowell St. and Ball Square Stations)

Tuesday, February 4, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, 41 Second Street, East Cambridge
  • For the Glass Factory Condominiums Area (includes Lechmere Station)

Wednesday, February 5, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • St. Clement School, 579 Boston Ave., Medford.
  • Broadway to Winthrop Street (includes College Avenue Station)
