Two Arrested Thursday in Connection to Gilman Street Stabbing

A victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to Somerville police.

Two men were arrested Thursday in connection to a stabbing that left a victim with non-life threatening injuries, according to Somerville police.

Deputy Chief Paul Upton of the Somerville Police Department, in an email sent Thursday evening, did not provide the identities of the two individuals arrested.

The stabbing happened around 3:20 p.m. near 109 Gilman St., according to Breaking News Network, a notification service that monitors police, fire and first-responder scanner transmissions.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in the chest and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, the Breaking News Network reported—information that has not been confirmed by Somerville Patch.
