Tufts Student Assaulted in Medford

A male student at Tufts University was walking on Dearborn Road, near College Avenue, in Medford at about 1 a.m. Wednesday when a group of three males approached him.

One of the males then punched him in the head, he told university police. He was able to flee the scene without injury.

He described the male who punched him as a heavy-set, white male in his early 20s, wearing a red shirt and baseball cap. One of the other men had a slim build and olive skin, was in his later 20s and had a beard and gray shirt.
