Transsexual Prostitute Arrested at Somerville Hotel

A 29-year-old was charging $200 for an hour of sexual services, according to a police report.

The Somerville Police Department's drug and vice control unit Friday arrested a transsexual prostitute at the Holiday Inn, according to a police report.

According to the report, members of the drug and vice control unit, conducting an ongoing investigation into the sex trade in Somerville, saw an advertisement offering transsexual sexual services for a fee.

An investigator called the number associated with the ad and arranged to meet at the 30 Washington St. hotel, the report says.

In the hotel room, William Angulo, 29, of Van Nuys, Calif., was "dressed in provocative attire," according to the report. It says Angulo was charging $200 for an hour of sexual services.

Details in the report indicate Angulo exposed breasts as well as male genitals to the investigator and that the two discussed using a condom.

Using a pre-arranged signal, the investigator called in an arrest team, the report says.

Angulo was charged with offering sexual conduct for a fee.
