Student Accused of Groping Teacher

A Somerville High School student was arrested after allegedly grabbing a teacher's chest.

Police arrested a Somerville High School student after he allegedly grabbed a female teacher's chest, according to a report from the Somerville Police Department.

Lorreno Pierre, 18, of 15A Memorial Rd., was arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery in connection to the incident.

According to allegations in the report, Pierre walked into the teacher's office at about 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 13, asking if she had any Halloween candy.

She had brought some candy in for fellow teachers and let Pierre take a few pieces, the report says. Afterward, she turned back to her computer, where she had been working, it says.

A moment later, the teacher saw Pierre approach her from behind as she was sitting at her desk, according to the report.

It says the student wrapped his arms around her chair, touched her arms and lightly grabbed her chest.

When he let go, the teacher, speechless, stared at him awkwardly, the report says.

Pierre then allegedly walked to the other side of the office and said to a student educator that he wanted marry the teacher.

After the incident, the teacher called Pierre housemaster, and eventually the high school headmaster got involved.

When police placed Pierre into custody, he allegedly said, "I gave her a hug, that's all I did."
