Standoff Ends Peacefully in Somerville

A standoff came to a peaceful end Sunday afternoon in Somerville after a SWAT team took a 28-year-old man into custody on George Street, according to a MyFoxBoston report.

The man allegedly had a knife and was threatening himself and his family, according to the report. Police were able to get family members out of the house safely before was taken into custody, according to the report.

The standoff ended shortly after noon, and no one was harmed during the incident, according to the report.
