Somerville resident Ralph Hergert, 66, who went missing Sunday, was found Monday evening in Boston, safe and sound, according to a recorded constituent services phone call from the city of Somerville.
Hergert, who suffers from memory problems, went missing at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, causing the Somerville Police Department to issue a missing person announcement to seek the public's help in finding him.
Earlier on Monday, the city of Somerville made a recorded constituent services call—sometimes called a reverse 311 call—also asking for the public's help.
The Monday evening phone call thanked everyone who helped in the search effort.
