Somerville Man Arrested on Assault Charges

The following information comes from the Somerville Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Bruce Perez, 27, of 97 Winslow Ave., Somerville, was arrested at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at 178 Boston Ave. and charged with two counts of assault and battery and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sunday, June 22

William Murphy, 31, of 27 College Ave., Arlington, was arrested at 10 p.m. Sunday at 170 Boston Ave. and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery on a police officer.

Andrew Johnson, 28, of 81 Columbia Road, Arlington, was arrested at 10 p.m. Sunday at 170 Boston Ave. and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250.

A juvenile was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Sunday at 77 Middlesex Ave. and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Friday, June 20

Fritz Figaro, 46, of 64 Gilman St., Somerville, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Friday on Highland Avenue and charged with operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Thursday, June 19

Jean Devereaux, 48, of 103 Marion St., Somerville, was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Thursday at 103 Marion St. and charged with assault and battery on an individual over 60 or disabled and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Jonathan Young, 20, of 96 Alabama St., Boston, was arrested at 9:10 a.m. Thursday at 137 Washington St. and charged with assault

Wednesday, June 18

Marsha Cargill, 44, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday on Highland Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct.

Kolleen Benoit, 33, of 290 Ferry St., Malden, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. Wednesday at 595 Broadway on a warrant for receiving stolen property under $250, uttering a false instrument and attempt to commit a crime.

Tuesday, June 17

Kenysson Ferreira, 27, of 94 Mount Vernon Street, Somerville, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Tuesday at 94 Mount Vernon Street and charged with assault and batter and assault with a dangerous weapon.

William Haley, 54, of 10 Beech St., Somerville, was arrested at 9:06 p.m. Tuesday on Kimball Street and charged with destruction of property under $250, possession of a burglarious instrument and attempt to commit a crime.

Romel Abraham, 52, of 9 Portland St., Lynn, was arrested at 5:06 p.m. Tuesday on Washington Avenue and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with licensed suspended, a passion violation and a marked lanes violation.

A juvenile was arrested at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday at 66 Highland Ave. and charged with trespassing.

Walter Burgos-Robles, 29, of 64 Palmer St., Salem, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday at 166 North St. and charged with possession to distribute a drug.

Danielle Doherty, 26, of 1374 Broadway, Somerville, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. Tuesday at 55 Davis Square on a warrant for assault and battery (three counts), larceny under $250 (two counts) and improper use of a credit card under $250.
