Somerville Man Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Vehicles

The following information comes from the Somerville Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Mark Baxter, 50, of 109 Gilman St., Somerville, was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Friday, June 27, at 32 Kent St. and charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle at night, receiving stolen property over $250, malicious damage to a motor vehicle and resisting arrest.

Saturday, June 28

Alloushy Kanyemera, 20, of 1370 Broadway, Somerville, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. Saturday at 15 Memorial Road on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Oscar Ortez, 46, of 31 Lambert Ave., Chelsea, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. Saturday at 518 Medford St. on a warrant for child enticement.

Friday, June 27

Edgard Filho, 57, of 10 Overlook St., Malden, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. Friday on Mansfield Street on a warrant for operation of a motor vehicle with license suspended and an improper turn.

Christopher Wiliams, 38, of 78 Exchange Ave., Medford, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Friday at 180 Somerville Ave. and charged with larceny over $250.

Brian Perry, 45, of 33 Pickney St., Somerville, was arrested at 10:13 a.m. Friday at 33 Pickney St. on a warrant for destruction of property under $250.

James Downey, 50, of 50 Churchill Ave., Cambridge, was arrested at 9:08 a.m. Friday at 220 Washington St. on a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Thursday, June 26

Jhef Fenton, 26, of 555 River St., Mattapan, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Thursday on McGrath Highway and charged with possession to distribute a drug.

Wednesday, June 25

Andressa Sarmento, 40, of 27 Grove St., Lynn, was arrested at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at 105 Alewife Brook Parkway on a warrant for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

Tuesday, June 24

Julio Rojas, 23, of 682 Blue Hills Ave., Dorchester, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday at 14 McGrath Highway and charged with destruction of property over $250.

Peterson Joseph, 24, of 192 Cedar St., Somerville, was arrested at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday at 257 Elm St. and charged with trespassing.
