'Provocatively Attired' 60-Year-Old Busted for Prostitution, Say Police
Police arrested the woman on the sixth floor of the Holiday Inn, according to a report.
A 60-year-old Randolph woman was arrested after accepting $125 from an undercover detective for half an hour of sexual services, according to a report from the Somerville Police Department.
The report says detectives with the Somerville narcotics and vice squad were investigating reports of a woman advertising sexual conduct for a fee on the Internet.
One of the detectives arranged for a meeting—in a room on the sixth floor of the Holiday Inn at 30 Washington St., the report says.
After knocking on the hotel-room door, the detective was met by a "provocatively attired" woman, according to the report.
It says the woman, Diane Richardson, was asking for $125 for half an hour of sexual activity and $200 for an hour of sexual activity.
After the detective handed over $125, Richardson removed her clothes, told the detective to disrobe, handed him a Trojan condom and explained certain ground rules of the sexual encounter, according to the report.
At that point, the detective gave a prearranged signal, and an arrest team moved in to take Richardson into custody, the report says.
She was charged with engaging in sexual conduct for a fee.
The above information was supplied by the Somerville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
